DeLoné Osby
DeLoné is a self-taught artist. She uses her work as a way to heal her own traumas, the traumas of her ancestors & recently the people who see her work. Through spiritual practices & ancestral work, she incorporates the messages she receives via dreams and meditation into her work.
Growing up multi-racial & queer, it was important to her to find her sense of self and where she fit in within her communities.
Art has helped her accomplish this. Her work has become an embodiment of herself and the divine in a way that also lets the viewer see the divine in themselves.

Relief
Understanding we are part of this earth and the way we are living is not how we're meant to live. The sadness we feel is that longing to go back to the earth and how she meant for us to coexist with her. To lay with her and how we can protect each other. The different blues are symbolic of the different types of sadness that can overcome us, and how rest is sometimes the only form of relief we can find from how we as humans lost sight of how we should be living.
